T. Vijayendra lives on an organic farm in the western ghats or in the city of Hyderabad. He has traveled widely within India and is well versed in Hindi and the literature, languages and cultures of the central parts of the country. He has been deeply involved with various people's movements and in causes for social justice and has written articles on a variety of subjects of topical interest in Hindi, Bengali and English. He has also written booklets on occupational health issues of textile and coal workers and on how to run hobby bookshops (in Hindi and Telugu).
Collated here are some of his writings, previously published in the Frontier, Kolkata. All the views, opinions and perspectives in the articles are the author's. His new set of three essays (2011) and a story, for private circulation, have been published by Sangatya Sahitya Bhandar, Udupi, Karnataka.
In 2009, these articles, along with some others, were brought out, in print, by a publishing collective comprising Sangatya Sahitya Bhandar (Udupi), Sahitya Chayana (New Delhi), Bal Sahiti (Chandigarh) and Shishu Milap (Baroda), entitled "The Losers Shall Inherit the World".
